Excellent Dining Experience
My partner and I came late and were pleasantly greeted and seated immediately. The atmosphere was winding down but I could see it still had a great vibe. The decor is island kitsch but in a good way because I felt transported back to the Greek isle of Mykonos with its brightly painted colors and eclectic art. The music was acoustical and well suited for the atmosphere. Our waitress was not only beautiful but knowledgable and pleasant without being intrusive. A rarity in the south. Our meal was memorable. We shared a wonderfully prepared arugula, goat-cheese, and strawberry salad. My pork chop entree and my partners salmon were perfectly prepared, flavorful and just the right portions. We decided to splurge on the hummingbird cake which was sheer perfection. The cream cheese frosting didn't overpower the cake as most do. I could swear they used marscapone to make it. The cake itself was dense and moist. We like to consider ourselves foodies and this place exceeded our expectations. One of the owners, Antonio, came to our table after our meal and introduced himself and we can confirm that he's "molto bello". If your looking for fine dining with a an upbeat atmosphere, don't miss this place. It's now a favorite of ours.
Very glad we found this place.
Love this restaurant! Outstanding cuisine. Tasty cocktails. Exceptional staff. Hunky owners. Great atmosphere. Definitely coming back and highly recommend it.
this is not the North East ......
North East attitude ..... with the prices to go along for so-so food. Skip it.
Ecclectic new restaurant
The re-opening of a bar/restaurant at a location where 3 others have failed. Really hope these guys make it. The theme has changed to a gay flavor since the failed owners, so maybe this will be their salvation. Food is outstanding, especially the plum salad. Have been there several times and never had a bad meal. Was there once on and impromptu "ladies" night. The girls were having an absolute blast, but were very friendly to a male couple. The Happy Hour prices can't be beat. You will not regret visiting MoJo.
Get your Mojo on!
A relatively new addition to Fort Lauderdale, Mojo offers American cusine with a flair. Very good quality and presentation with healthy and tasty (not always true in many restaurants) selections for every palate. Entertainment on most Friday and Saturdays, Happy Hour starting at 4 during the week. Catering available. Eye candy for everyone.
