nice retro resort but not the closets to the gay beach
The coconut cove is the closets to the gay beach area. The Windamar has nice house keepers and the rooms are clean However frequent changes in office management with a put a shadow over this sunny place., Now they have bi-monthly hosting of unsafe sex orgies and poorly maintained landscaping and TV's, ice makers and air conditoners breaking down. Good luck getting assitance if it happens to you after the office closes. Compared to other guest houses available in the area this place has lost it's charm
Love it
Love it Love it Love it. I have sayed here at least 20 times. Always fun. Everyone is very friendly, the staff and the guests. Love the video room and the hot tub, You will have a great time here.
My Favorite Has it all! Relaxing, Clean, and Fun
I have stayed here 5 years in a row. I have enjoyed every time. I like the fact that it is clean with a relaxed atmosphere great pool hot guys during the day on day passes. If you want to hang naked and chill you can. If you want hit action in the video room you can. Nice size fridge. My friends in the area always come over for a pool day. I prefer to do my own breakfast but sometimes grab cereal or fruit. My first year I came cause it was close to the beach-I never left the pool area! I can have lunch, cocktails w friends and get out of the sun to my room. Great location as I can get north or south to meet friends for dinner. My very small complaints 1. Too much chemical in hot tub 2. I buy dishes, table ware, glasses each time and they don't leave them for next guest.
just ok
We stayed here twice. The rooms were big, pool and video lounge are fun, the beach is in walking distance. the breakfest is poor, only pre-packed and you'll need à car to get almost everywhere (except the beach) I guess all the hotels in the guesthouse area are simular: motel style accommodation, too expensive for what you get and far from bars and shops. I would not mind to go back but the Windamar is not special at all.
