HARD to find but worth the search
Though the bar has a door on Wilton Drive, the building is actually located on a side street. We found the place on our last day in Ft. Lauderdale. Very nice atmosphere and friendly bartenders Jack and Aaron assure that we will return on our next visit.
Pub feeling
Has the feeling of a pub but large space. Pool tables, darts and games. Have a euchre night. Friendly crowd. 2 4 1 happy hour. Food. Nice hang out bar.
laid back but gets crowded
Great space and location. Caters to a 30 and up crowd. Has fun and silly shows, many about bears. But bears in Ft. Lauderdale are not like bears in other places. Here it is about being a regular Joe and looking good doing it. The drinks are pricey on the weekend, but the specials are great. Try the Long Island specials- they come in mason jars. 2 of those and you may find yourself up on the stage and in hot body contest! It has a large front room that can get busy and be tough to navigate when there are so many big and brawny guys hanging around. If you need a little space, try the side bar. It has tables and a fun winding bar. It's definitely a more chilled and relaxed atmosphere.back there. I don't think I've ever seen one str8 person in this bar on a regular night.
Best friendliest bar!!
I've been to Ft. Lauderdale many times and never went to Bill's, until July of this year 2010. The first thing I noticed was how NICE and FRIENDLY the bartenders were! And so beautiful! Very UNLIKE The Manor where all the bartenders are unfriendly and stuck up!! Total attitudes! Big turnoff!!! I will always be a fan of Bill's when I'm in Ft. Lauderdale.
Definitely worth a visit - or ten!!
Absolutely love this place - the staff are always friendly & informed. This place attracts a mixed crowd and we always make a point of visiting Bill's for our first beer when we arrive in Fort Lauderdale. It's like a neighbourhood bar so there's plenty of pub type games available to play / watch being played.
