I haven't been since 2008? I thought this place had closed?

Call before you go

Went on a sunday night, the second week of september. Got there around midnight and there was 1 customer and 1 dancer. Bartender apologized, said that september was so slow that they had 7 dancers scheduled and sent them all home except for the one. The dancer never did get on the stage, staying there with the customer the entire time we were there.

I ""LOVED"" ALL the staff there, The drinks was geat! Better HUNKS then mine SOB ex-bf whom I wasted 6 years with. Best Place in TOWN!!!!

Too slow for a Fri. night

Returned to Dudes on 11/22/13. It was slow for a Fri. night and the dancers were subpar. Seems like this place is going downhill. Still $6 for a rum and coke though and no cover. ******* [Earlier review:] This bar is a few blocks from the Ft. Lauderdale beach. The bar is horseshoe shaped, and there's 5 or 6 flatscreen TVs for showing videos, and a curtained -off lounge area used for lap dances. I was there early AM on 11/21/09; there were only three or four dancer boys (but that's a good thing if you don't want to spend a lot of money on lap dances!) The staff and dancers were hot, and generally friendly, more so than at Boardwalk. The cover charge was $10, and I paid $6 for a rum and coke, if I remember right. Lap dances start at $25; prices increase proportional to length. My advice is to limit yourself to a few dance(r)s and then leave, or get used to saying, "No, thanks." :)

Didn't like this bar at all !

This bar is a long way from the other bars. Bartenders are not friendly at all and very slow. Management is not nice. It is obvious they are there for only one thing and that is to rip off the gay community. Drinks were watered down. There are so many great bars in Ft. Lauderdale to go to.
