The rooms are very nice, and some feature full kitchens and living rooms, but it's all about the beautiful pool at Ed Lugo Resort. Enjoy the view from your tropical shower. Not a men-only resort, but located in Wilton Manors and is very gay-friendly.

A beautiful escape on a busy street
To be honest, from the outside you see signs "Ed Lugo Resort" on small houses, you can't even imagine what you're going to see until you step inside, and then you're in awe...modern comfort, from the bedroom to the lavatory, to the sitting room to the kitchen, it's a spa to yourself...you have a private backyard, chairs and lights for night enjoyment, there's a hammock to sway you into a peaceful daydream...a waterfall that is soothing to listen to and the staff make you smile since they are compassionate, funny, friendly and understanding and know how to make your experience, perfect...
Amazing, wonderful Place
I have had long stays at Ed Lugo resort for three years running and one year, filled up the entire resort with friends. The experience here is always fantastic, with magnificent surroundings, beautiful unique rooms and the utmost in caring, unobtrusive guest care. The personal touches alone make the experience memorable. Ed and staff always delight me with care which is above and beyond! Thanks for everything Ed. I look forward to many more visits.
Fantastic and unique place to stay
Wonderful and welcoming place to stay. Everything has been carefully planned out to ensure a relaxing and special experience. The pool area is stunning and offers a great range of facilities. Ed and his team have created a truly remarkable place. Hardest part is to leave all this tranquility behind-cant wait to return very soon.
It was the BEST!!!
The minute I arrived, I felt relaxed. Service was first class and the staff went out of their way to make us feel like we were the honored guests!! The rooms were very quaint and we had a blast!! We are difinitely going back!!.
Great host, great staff, great location.
I traveled to Fort Lauderdale for work and picked Ed Lugo Resort because its location would allow me to relax and enjoy myself when I wasn't working. Ed was great - getting up early to welcome me after I'd flown on the red eye to arrive early. He and his staff were friendly, showed me around and made me feel very much "at home" I'd recommend this highly and plan on staying there again on my next trip.
