irritating sauna temperature
Have been here tonight, when I arrived, the showers, sauna and steam room were closed for cleaning notice for almost an hour - with no advance. Sauna is not hot, so people use it for cruising, door opens every second. If you like real sauna, you will be disappointed. If you like hot sex, you might be lucky, but be sure to bring enough time and be here at the right time...
Irritating cleaning "shut downs"
Have been here twice and it's a nice, clean place. Both times, however, the showers, sauna, and steam room were closed by a cleaning person with no advance notice. When this happens, these areas are not available for at least one hour. On Sunday night, it was at midnight, shortly after I entered! Note to mgmt, please post these cleaning times, let guests know on entry, and do them during non-peak times. Thanks. My advice
Typical bathhouse but well kept
Plenty of rooms, halls of doors with some openly inviting you in. Small porn room with some play space. Big steam room with lots of little sections for playing. If you like the baths where you walk around in towels and can rent rooms, this is the one to go to in the area. Nice and clean and well kept.

Their single remark "poor compared to European sauna's (sic) , sorry", was a snotty and totally information-free review: I have been to a lot of European saunas, and it is true that nothing in the US can compare to the very best of European gay suanas, such as Phoenix in Cologne, but there are also many, many nasty, dirty gay saunas in Europe and Club Fort Lauderdale does not rank at that level in any way. Club Fort Lauderdale has a particularly nice pool area, the rooms, showers and halls are very clean. They give you extra towels - in Europe you would be charged 3or 4 Euros for another towel. The crowd is not perhaps as young as at some Euro saunas, but not as old as some either. All in all, I think that gymboys4funs' remark was unfair and unhelpful, and more of a comment on their snobbishness than anything else.
