With a stunning outdoor patio, scrumptious creations from the kitchen, and a calendar filled to the brim with amazing events, it's no wonder Georgie's Alibi Monkey Bar is one of the most popular spots in the city. Enjoy their full-service restaurant before hitting the dance floor and don't miss one of their legendary drag shows!

Strike a Pose
Middle age, and twinks much into Cliques, lot's of "elective reconstructive surgery" around, everyone jocking for attention without reciprocating. Social interaction at a minimum. The only group I found friendly where guys on vacation, looking to get laid. Madonna must be a secret investor on this place, it should be renamed "Strike a Pose". Very little room to navigate, and you are bombarded everywhere with big flat screens; audio/visual overload.
Gorgeous Guys at Georgie's
I visit this bar every time I am in Fort Lauderdale and love it. Good deals on drinks and really friendly bar staff with no attitude. The food is not great but puts a lining on your stomach! Will be back there December 08 for BillyFest V.
New Yorker Here I Come...........

Gouging
We were regulars there, but found, despite being REGULARS, as well as 20% tippers, people coming in AFTER us got served first, paid their bill and left... we got our food after THEY were done and it was STONE COLD. Apparently ya gotta BE sombody.. whatever THAT is. We get better service in straight places. The Georgies 'fad' may or may not pass, but not on my bucks. I don't mind waiting in line, but NOT after everybody in the place gets served. It's happened more than once.... action speaks louder than words. Went back for a second try on 12/16/07; the place was nearly empty; ordered one hot dog, EACH @ six bucks each and two alcohol drinks, EACH.... got charged TWO BUCKS for ice that they threw away anyway, PLUS a TWO DOLLAR "surcharge" , whatever THAT was for. Total price: FIFTY BUCKS for TWO hot dogs and four drinks. Try "J. Alexanders"... believe it or not, it's cheaper.
