Stayed in a suite based on the manager's advice. Room advertised as a suite but all it is nothing more than a room with a kitchen and bath, no separate living room like other resorts that we have stayed at that have suites. Owner very unfriendly and chastized us for taking towels to the beach even though the booklet in each room encourages guests to take the towels to the beach. Room was overpriced for $275.00 per night although it was clean.

Rooms are nice, but the management is poor and unfriendly. There are plenty of resorts that welcome their guests, we were not impressed by this property. Go right next door and the owners are much nicer. We spent most of our vacation next door at the worthington/Alcazar resort.

We have stayed at Villa Venice several times over the past 2 or 3 years and each time we return, we find, to our delight, that it just gets better! Eddie, the manager, is very personable and always makes us feel like we are staying with family. The rooms are impeccably clean, the pool and deck area lushly planted and the men are hot, hot, hot! We like going over Holiday weekends when they usually have a big Poolside Party (frequented by locals and many other gay guesthouse guests) - the last time they had a very hot stripper named Rodney who was delicious! We think it's the absolute best in Fort Lauderdale!
