A definite MUST stay if visiting Ft. Lauderdale
I have stayed in many hotels in the past 20 years in Ft. Lauderdale. The Island Sands is, without a doubt, at the top of my list. Not only is it ideally located, but is so clean and well kept! The rooms are design perfect and spotless. The location is ideal for everything! And what really moves it to the top of the list is the service provided by the owners, Jim and Mike! They are so personable and go out of their way to make your stay ideal! I have been staying there now each time that I go to Ft. Lauderdale for the past year and each time I am just amazed that the level of service stays so high! Definitely a must if traveling to Ft. Lauderdale!
My new "GO TO" place to stay in Fort Lauderdale area
I cannot say enough great things about this place and the guys that own it. This was, by far, the absolute best experience I have had staying in the Fort Lauderdale area. Let me break down a few of the finer points of booking with them. The Owners - Mike and Jim were both incredibly prompt, helpful and all-around great guys to deal with. I never had to wait for a response to a question I had, and they were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area and where I might like to go and hangout. Again, I cannot stress the amazing level of customer service that they provide. BRAVO! The Location - Super convenient to the main strip in Wilton Manors. As I was staying there before and after a cruise, I found the location perfect for relaxing and goofing off around town without having to deal with traffic, cabs, or Ubes. The Property - GOOD GOD the rooms are nice! Far more amenities and more pleasant looking furnishing than I have ever seen in a boutique resort! Spacious, super clean, and comfortable. This will definitely be my first choice in accommodations when coming to Wilton Manors / Fort Lauderdale from now on.
“Perfect for your stay in the "Gayborhood"”
This lovely Inn is perfectly located in the heart of Wilton Manors. Situated just steps off of Wilton Drive you can park your car and walk to all the bars and restaurants on the Drive. Once inside the gate, it's an oasis of calm and serenity with a gorgeous heated pool and well manicured garden. My room (#2) was tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Some lovely extras such as complimentary bottled water and a glass of wine greeted me upon arrival, in addition to the free WiFi. Mike and Jim were gracious and welcoming and I feel like I found my new home away from home whenever I return to Wilton Manors.
Island sands inn heaven
OMGosh, this place is amazing. It is so peaceful, yet right in the midst of the gay nightlife scene of Fort Lauderdale/Wilton manors Florida. The guys JIM and Mike go far above and beyond. They are fun and sooo very hospitable. I will always stay there when I come this area. The rooms are meticulously beautiful and so comfortable. I absolutely love Island Sands Inn.
Comfort, Hospitality, Great Staff, Location
I have stayed at the Island Sands Inn in Wilton Manors on several occasions. Each time the rooms were lovely, the staff was accommodating, courteous and friendly. If that weren't enough, you can't beat the location, veritably around the block from all the clubs. Mike and Jim are terrific hosts.
