filthy, not worth staying here
The place is dirty especially the bathroom. It was apparently not cleaned from the last guest especially the sink. It had a film of dirt that was from previous guests. When I brought it up to the GM he got combative with me. That’s unacceptable. I have stayed here before and in the future will stay elsewhere where they appreciate their guests. It was obvious the place is getting tired we were the only guests there.
Spent a long weekend there a year ago. Rooms are clean, staff was accommodating. Included a continental breakfast. Also charged a daily fee for parking. Last of the male only clothing optional hotels in FLL which is much appreciated. Several others have moved to "gay friendly" which is not the same. There are several buildings overlooking the hotel which distracts from the atmosphere of the clothing optional pool. Ended up buying a day pass at another hotel for privacy. Beach is just a few blocks away.
Loved it!
My boyfriend and I stayed here and we really liked it. Staff was very friendly, rooms were very clean, and it was extremely relaxing. Will for sure stay again next time we are there!
Nice, very clean and friendly place to stay.
We stayed here one night, 4/25/14, when we were accommodated from another hotel due to a water pipe break in our room. We were definitely impressed by the attention to detail given by the housekeeping staff and the overall cleanliness of the resort. Great place for couples, close to beach and not far from Wilton Manors.
Great first experience for the gay guest houses in FTL.
We stayed at the Cheston House in February 2011 for a weekend getaway from cold, wintery Salt Lake City. The rate was great and the location is exactly what we were looking for, walking distance to the beach. Didn't really know what to expect, as this was our first gay guest house experience in FTL, but we liked this place very much. Very clean. Fun and friendly staff. Comfortble, clean accomodations and very nice guys staying there during our visit. It wasn't a den of hot, horny men, but they weren't far away. It was actually nice to have a quiet, discreet place to sleep, lay naked by the pool, hop to the beach and Wilton Manors and "play". Will try another resort on our next visit, but would definitely stay here again and do recommend it.
