Sebastian Street Beach

(76 Ratings)
Fort Lauderdale's most popular gay beach

Located near most of the gay resorts, Sebastian Street is the most popular beach destination for gay tourists. Populated mostly by men, this beach is see-and-be-seen in that low-key Lauderdale way. Located across from the silver sea club resort, less than 5 minutes walking from the Ritz Carlton hotel.

Great!

I am a little spoiled here in San Francisco as we have a gay beach (which also tends to be nude as well). But Sebastian Beach is great. Its at the end of Sebastian Street, next to Fort Lauderdale beach. If you are headed South on A1A and make a right on Sebastian Street they there is a convenient parking lot and its only $1.25 per hour which is a deal. Great place to meet people! The beach is about a block long and consists of mostly gay men. The crowd tends to be 30+, but it really draws all gay men. No nudity. i wish someone would put up a gay flag, but its obviously gay either way.

Luv It

I am a local and I luv to hang out at this beach, Packed on the weekends and a bit quiet during the week. Lots of all types here - younger and older, gd lking and not so, a true mix of what Ft Laud is all about... You will get a lot of the Miami crowd up here on the weekends as well... Much more friendly and real in Ft Laud I guess. It is a very comfortable beach.... Be sure to bring some food and booze - just keep it in a cooler and dont advertise it...

Egg And You

Great local hang out for cheap breakfast. Fun "gals" who have been there for 20-30 years are you servers. 70 year old Patty is a hoot. Jeanie is a native Brit who owns the place.
