Poverello is a 2-part organization: the thrift store sells clothes, furniture and bric-a-brac to raise money for its food bank, which gives food to HIV+ people who are having money problems. Excellent organization--and you can score some fun finds in that store.

    Top fashion at basement prices
    Yeah, it's used, but where else can buy a pair if 501's for about $15! I even found shirts unworn, still bearing store tags. Profits go to a very good cause-food bank in back, unlike some if the other big name thrifts in the Manors.
