The First Sunday of every month hosts an amazing Tea Dance & Show

The Only tea Dance on Ft Luaderdale's beautiful intracoastal attracts a diverse mix of people 200+ and $3 drinks are the law of the land. Hostess Amanda Austin brings in special guests such as Serena Cha Cha of Ru Paul's Drag Race Season #5 and the cast of Lips provide performers too. For 2 years this party has been running and it only seems to be picking up more steam. Check it out for yourselves, by land or boat.

Great Dockside Dining

Came here with friends a few days ago for lunch. I really liked the place. Service was friendly, but a little slow getting our food out. It's sort of basic bar food that they serve for lunch, our orders were accurate, and drinks and refills came out promptly. Great views of the inter coastal waterway. A great place if you are not looking for anything fancy, but want a nice view in a pleasant setting. Pay parking in a cover garage is available across the street so the was very convenient.

Waterfrnt Rest Trying to Make Primarily Gay

I was going to Shooters next door, but I saw this multicolored building next door. It used to be Taverna Opa, so I was curious to see what replaced it. I walked in and looked at the menu, when a little Spanish lady came up to me. She said she's the head cook and she'd make her specialty if I stayed. It was sooooooooo good. It was a Venezuelan-style Tamale. I would've rather had the rice with it that my partner had on his plate instead of the cole slaw though. I finished my beer, when the server brought me another that I hadn't ordered but he said it was two for one happy hour! yay! This place is relaxing and fun anddddd GAY FRIENDLY! There's a really hot gay bartender named Felix in his 20s there (mostly nights) and a sexy bi-girl in her 20s bartender (most day shifts) and a gay server who's in his 30s and hot. They're trying to get a mostly gay crowd in there. Let's make it happen!
