Has Potential but the place is not kept up

My partner and I tried to join here a few weeks ago. Signed up for the three day pass to see how the facility was. Great location, but the equipment is not in the best condition, Most all of it was working but is very dated, and old. They do not have a recent crunch machine, the walls and decor needs freshening up badly. The shower area had new dispensers but no soap. The steam room is not working, I'm told by other members this have been out of order for the last 6 months. The sauna holds 3 persons at most. Locker rooms get messy, I get that guys can be slobs, but they need to have someone in there picking up and doing spot cleaning more often. It feels like the owners just don't want to invest in the place. Then, we went to join and they had raised the prices from the original quote of 2 days before. That was the last straw, we will keep our memberships at LA Fitness.

All About Sexual Energy

This place does have a great location in the heart of the gay scene but it is such a dump. Needs a renovation badly and tries to get an identity. Equipment is worn and dated. The place smells. Guys seem to come here for the active steamroom.... Seems to be like a local feeding frenzy but the crowd is average at best.... not a place that I would join again. They are a part of some big outfit now but the jury is still out on this place.

Great People, Great Gym

I really enjoy going to this gym, there is plenty of space, lots of equipment, and a very friendly and professional staff. There are several personal trainers on hand as well as a massage room & massage therapist. Located next to Georgie's Alibi in the heart of Wilton Manors.

Island City a Nasty Dirty Gym

Most of the patrons frequent this gym not for a proper workout, but for the "activity" which occurs in the steam room and sauna. In truth, there are only a handful of serious workouts occurring, with most entering and running toward the locker rooms. In addition, the managers often intimidate and insult the guests of the gym, and the staff is often rude and highly inappropriate. The daily fees are outrageous, they change your monthly billing (increase) without telling you, and charge astronomical amounts for drinks and shakes. You are better off heading to World Gym on Federal Highway.
